Veneers / Cosmetic Dentistry

Dr Brendan is also the wisdom tooth wizard at Avenue Dental Maroochydore.
Dr Brendan is a general dentist who has trained with maxillofacial surgeons in Australia, India and the Philippines to hone his surgery skills to be able to provide wisdom tooth extractions as painlessly and efficiently and possible. Dr Brendan works with an anaesthetist to provide IV sedation during the procedure, but also can remove wisdom teeth whilst a patient is awake with local anaesthetic if preferred by the patient.
Radiographs below from some of Dr Brendan’s patients illustrate the strange ways that wisdom teeth can present. Most wisdom teeth are not advisable to be kept long term. In general, the younger you are the better you heal from wisdom tooth surgery so it is prudent to have your wisdom teeth assessed regularly between the ages of 16 and 25.
Outside of dentistry Dr Brendan loves the active sunshine coast lifestyle with his wife and daughter. Dr Brendan has found his dental home here and is very happy to have laid down the roots for his family here after moving from Melbourne in 2011.
